1 Character list: Narrator Green Cube Blue Cube Angel Cube Kids mom Kid Purple Cube Orange Cube Red Cube -Chapter 1- Setting: grassy floor, daytime, campfire, near house Narrator: On the planet of the cubes, which is in the Andromeda Galaxy, there was a group of friends who were destined to go an adventure out of their planet. But they still had no idea anything extraordinary would happen… Green Cube: Remember that time Blue Cube tried to make orange juice with lemons? Blue Cube: I’m just not good at cooking! Green Cube: Yeah, but it’s in the name of the fruit! Oranges make orange juice and lemons make lemonade! Blue Cube: Well, I’m not good at making foods or drinks in general! Green Cube: What about that time you just poured a bunch of flour on the waffle machine and thought it would actually make waffles? Purple Cube: Excuse me, but why are we around the campfire on summer? Shouldn’t the sun be enough heat? Angel Cube: We know, but it’s out tradition! We can’t just, stop doing it! Orange Cube (walking out of house): Do you guys want anything else? More orange juice, bread, anything? Blue Cube: No thanks, Orange Cube. Red Cube: Yeah, I’m pretty full too. Green Cube: Me! Me! I want more of everything we just ate! It’s just too good! ALL: WHAT?!?!?!?!? Purple Cube: You’re like a bottomless pit! Do you ever get full? Green Cube: Not that I remember… (portal suddenly opens) Purple Cube: Huh? Guys? What is that? Angel Cube: It looks like a portal… Blue Cube: But where does it lead to? Green Cube: There’s only one way to find out! Blue Cube: But wait! Shouldn’t we be suspicious about it? It literally just appeared out of thin air, in our backyard, and we don’t even know if the other side is safe! Green Cube: Calm down, Blue Cube, nothing bad is gonna happen, let’s go in! (everyone enters portal) (weird magic sounds) Orange Cube: What is happening? Purple Cube: I feel so dizzy! Blue Cube: I told you this was a bad idea! Green Cube: Wait, I feel like something’s happening! Angel Cube: Well, I’m an angel so I don’t feel anything. Blue Cube: Look now! ALL: Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
-Chapter 2- Setting: night time, behind bushes, near white house with a lantern next to the door, house has red triangular roof. (all come out of portal) ALL except Angel Cube: Ouch! Ow! Angel Cube: Ooh, that must have been painful! Are you guys ok? Purple Cube: Yeah, we’re ok. Green Cube: See? I told you nothing would happen. Blue Cube: Where are we? It looks like our world, but different! The plants are the same, but the building style is different! Red Cube: Look! A big monster! ALL: Where?!? Red Cube: Ha ha! I got all of you! Purple Cube: Hey, don’t scare us like that! Green Cube: It’s okay, it was just a prank! It’s the oldest trick in the book. Purple Cube: Then why did you fall for it? Green Cube: I don’t know! Maybe because we’re totally not in an unknown world and we’re just in our house watching TV? Purple Cube: Oh well, you have a point. Red Cube: Anyways, is there anyone living in this world? It looks so nice and maintained, it can’t just be a ghost planet, right? Green Cube: You’re right, it would be all in ruins. But that’s what makes it creepier! The fact that things actually live here! Green Cube: But who? (humans start speaking) (all cubes look at humans) ALL CUBES: Humans!?! Angel Cube: That means that we are in planet Earth from the Milky Way Galaxy! Blue Cube: Milky wait? Isn’t that the closest galaxy to Andromeda? That means that we didn’t just travel through worlds, but through an entire galaxy! Green Cube: Look the portal is closing! (portal closes) Blue Cube: NOOOOO! How will we get back then? No portal, no way back home! THAT MEANS THAT WE ARE STUCK HERE FOREVER! THIS IS YOUR FAULT, GREEN CUBE! YOU WANTED TO GO THROUGH THIS PORTAL! Green Cube: No, we’re not stuck. Looks like we’ll just have to go on an adventure, to go back home! ALL (except Blue Cube): Yes! Blue Cube: Fine, but are you sure that even is possible? What, are we going to make a machine that uses quantum physics to calculate exact positions in our universe, and then break space-time and travel back to our planet? Green Cube: Blue Cube, you are a genius! That might be just what we have to do! Blue Cube: Yeah, yea- wait, what? Green Cube: Yeah, that might just work! Blue Cube: But how are we going to do that? You don’t even know what quantum entanglement is! Green Cube: Yeah you’re right. I don’t really know much about that quintum entenglement. But we could find someone that does! Blue Cube: Fine. Don’t blame me if we’re stuck on this planet forever. Purple Cube: Come on, Blue Cube! Can’t you be a little more optimistic like Green Cube? You always think everything is going to go wrong! Blue Cube: What if I’m right? Purple Cube: Never mind. We’re just going to change your mind by actually going back to our planet! Angel Cube: This is no easy task. This might take days, or even weeks, but I’m sure the effort will be worth it. Green Cube: Let’s go then!
