Just my SSF2 mains. Main: Waluigi Why: This is such a good character to combo with. Landing every hit is so satisfying. Waluigi is a BEAST. Landing the his F-Air is oh so satisfying. Overall, one of the best characters in the game. Down Tilt and Down Air are perfect for meteor smashing foes. I play competitively against CPU, but this guy makes me want to weave my way into the big leagues. Secondary: Captain Falcon Why: Just another good character to combo with. Satisfying to play, good combos, etc. N-Air is great. All around satisfying to switch to after a good Waluigi session. Like playing, but mid-bottom tier: Goku, Luffy Why: I love Dragon Ball Z. Goku has such a good moveset on paper, but in SSF2 it just kinda sucks. I want him to be my other Secondary, but he's just not good enough. Luffy suffers from a simalar issue, however unlike bottom tier Goku, Luffy is mid tier. I'd say his main flaw is his recovery and the extended hurtbox isn't enough of a trade off. I'd say extend his Down-Special's recovery time and make him speedier. Make Goku speedier too, make him stronger and extend his Instant Transmission's length. Used to secondary, don't play often: Sora, Pichu, Bandanna Waddle Dee, Black Mage Why: These are all decent, but I've lost interest in them. I'd say Sora and Black Mage I played the most out of these 4. I don't think I'll come back to them. - Also Chibi-Robo is easily my least favourite character, sorry Chibi-Robo fans. Zip-Lash and now this? Not fair at all, I say. - Stages I like: Sand Ocean, Planet Namek, World Tournament - Stages I dislike: Emerald Cave, Any stages with big gaps in the middle, Any stages with Lava
Please play SSF2! SSF2 is my smash game of choice and is easily the best to control. Very good competitive play, a great selection of characters, and solid stages, despite my distain for a couple. Good singleplayer too. Just overall a great game, I hope a v1.4 comes out within a year, it's been a while since the last update.
