The Thin-Billed Crested Pecker is a species of avian that feeds on parasitic nematodes and flatworms. It has a long, bright white crest to stand out and attract mates. It is in a symbiotic relation with most large species of non-sapient aliens in Serinia. Its beak is perfect for pulling out nematodes, flatworms and small insects out of the fur/skin of large animals. The creature is around 30 cm tall. It lives in social groups of up to 50 individuals. Everyone has the same rank: Member. They rarely fight. They live in small savannas and scrubland.
