Hello and welcome to the Legend of the Blue Diamond finale MAP! This MAP is to celebrate the finale of the comic series Legend of the Blue Diamond, and will cover the events of the whole series. Even if you're not interested in joining the MAP, I suggest that you go and read it! It's a good series! (And if you ARE joining the MAP but haven't read it yet, you probably should.) Alright, onto the MAP information! || Table of Contents || ~ Rules ~ Entry Form ~ Parts ~ Credits || Rules || ~ Please read all the rules ~ Please fill out the entry form! I will not give you the part if you don't fill it out. ~ In the form, I ask for animation examples. Your animation does not need to be perfect, but I do want to know that you actually can animate. You don't need to be a super experienced animator, I just need to know that you have some animating experience. ~ If I don't respond to your form in a week, I'm sorry, but you're not accepted. However, you're still welcome to sign up as a backup or thumbnail entry! ~ You can animate in AMV or PMV. Whatever works for you! ~ PLEASE no animating in the backdrops! And try to limit the number of separate sprites you use. It makes my life so much easier when putting the MAP together! ~ Codeword is inside the project ~ If you are accepted, you will have 3 weeks to work on your part before I check in with you. You don't have to have your part done by then, but I will check in to make sure you haven't forgotten about it. You can then ask for an extension, or decide to drop the part. ~ This is a scripted MAP, so PLEASE follow the script to the best of your ability! This MAP is trying to cover an entire comic series' worth of content in one song, so the script is very specific. That, way we can fit everything in. If your part is too far off of what the script says, I will kindly ask you to change it. ~ These next few aren't actually "rules", but they are some of my suggestions. One, try animating your part so that it fits with the beat of the song! Lining up well with the music makes animations look a lot better. Also, I would suggest not making your part too "busy" and complicated. There's a lot of stuff happening in this MAP, so try to make it easy for your viewers to understand all that is happening. Finally, if you haven't read Legend of the Blue Diamond yet, I HIGHLY suggest you do!
