It's about the tale of how an Angel (Angelo) and an Incubus (Diablo) become friends and work together as they travel the world together while getting themselves into adventures and meet new friends along the way. The siren (Chiron), the Eyeball with wings (Issac), and the shadow spirit (Candy) would join the 2 on their adventures later in the series.
