hey there! i'm no longer part of this project! see @codequestria for info and auditions This is for the Warriors Into the Wild Series: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/32036263/ ⚠️All Animators participating MUST read this⚠️ (Sorry its pretty long) Art Style this must all be in: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/728910607 Animation Process: quick Summery: step 0- audio step 1- storyboards step 2- line art step 3- colour step 4- backgrounds (this step fits in anywhere after story boards) step 5- editing ◢ Step 0 ◣ We get the audio (this includes voice acting, and possibly music) and it's put together nicely in a project. ◢ Step 1◣ story boards someone roughly sketches up a storyboard to go with the audio. ◢ Step 2 ◣ Line art AFTER Storyboards are approved, selected people are given part of the storyboard to draw clean line art of. These artists must be good at drawing as the line art is usually what makes or breaks an animation. I would like to try and avoid frame by frame animation because scratch doesn't run animations like that very well. It would be much less time consuming and easy for scratch to run if we do an animatic style. Art style: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/728910607/ ◢ Step 3 ◣ Colouring This job is pretty simple-- selected people take the finished and approved line art and colour them in. The easiest way to do this is to copy and paste line art onto a drawing program, colour it in, then put it back on scratch. You don't have to be a skilled artist for this, but it is highly recommended that you have a drawing app. or, if your a line artist, you can also do the colouring of your drawings. ◢ Step 4 ◣ Backgrounds (This step fits in anywhere after storyboards) Selected people draw backgrounds for different scenes. There will have to be a colour pallet made for this ◢ Step 5 ◣ Editing After everything is approved, final edits will be made. This is the step where everything is put together in one project. Editing also includes sound effects and music (if it hasn't been added already) Then it should all be finished! :) sorry if that was really long and boring to read but its very important if we wanna make this work :D thanks for reading this btw Let me know if anything needs clarifying! :)
