The status of the planets of this universe are currently at stake. Our planet, mostly. Trash is being dumped in the ocean, cans chucked at living trees. At the rate we're going, in the next hundred years, there will be more trash in the seas than fish and the world will be 10% landfill site. Animals and fish will get stuck in trash and possibly, in the next thousand years, the landfill sites will be visible from space!
