Since I'm not doing digital art, but I'm still drawing regularly, I thought another art dump was a good idea. 1) Bulletin Board painted + decorated to fit my room aesthetic 2) Mushroom lightswitch cover 3) Cute art to put up on bulletin board later 4) Watercolor bookmark 5) More bookmarks 6) Princess OC, requested by a friend 7) Goblin witch OC of mine 8) My first D&D character, human druid 9) My favorite/best D&D character, tabaxi rogue 10) Girl in dress 11) My budgie in a suit 12) Trippy mushroom 13) Oil painting that could wear snapchat filters 14) Crayons on blue craft paper... I'm still speechless 15) Deer done with pens 16) Sketch stage of a self-portrait that looked bad when I finished but okay in this picture (I look different now, got my hair cut + dyed red) [All art by me]
Hello! It's been... what, 3 weeks of school by now? And I'm already ready for summer? Wow. So, there isn't as much homework as I thought. But I still need the time every day after school anyway. Not for work, but for mental recharging. A day of highschool takes a lot out of me, apparently. I need at least two hours of relaxation just sitting and watching TV or something, or I'll be kinda brain dead the next day. So I could be doing scratch on the weekends, but I just don't have the motivation in my brain for that. Don't get me wrong, I have a dozen new ideas for good comic series, I just don't want to do all that drawing. And of course, there's the alternative writing a book method, but be honest, how many of you have read/ are reading fallen snow all the way through? Not many, I'm sure. So I'm not doing any stories until I find motivation to draw or write, even if nobody will read it. Then there's small projects, like short stories or Six Strange Warriors Story Ideas, etc. I don't have motivation to draw things, or really write things. I have tons of ideas, that's a constant. But motivation and audience are lacking departments. As for coding games, I still do that sometimes, but usually in small amounts and don't get much done. Stitch city is coming along nicely, I really love the graphics and gameplay. But that won't be out for a long time, sadly. As for my other games, pretty much abandoned at this point. I stopped work on my warriors games over a year ago, haven't opened flashlight in months, BattleBirds is kind of a lost cause, and numerous other games I barely started have been lost to the ages. Then there's school itself. I gotta admit, the first few days were tough. But now I'm growing to like my classes (at least some of them) and have made some new friends along with my current friends. I can't wait to see where this chapter in my life takes me. I hope to post cool things every now and then, but I can't make any promises. Until next time, - Lily / @lilcodingblock
