Description

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING THE PROJECT! Currently, I'm working on a refreshed 3D Sprite Render here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/215666496/ The refreshed version brings in a lot of new features (Layers support/Z substitute, efficient rendering, error system, and much more). Welcome to Custom Block 3D Sprite Render A stamp technique well known to recreate 3D, with a different script method used with custom block to remove screen refresh (and easily use it on other sprites with just the custom block), and an advanced Depth with the help of X and Y positioning for flexibility, a much more defined effects (such as glow and end layer fade effect) NOTES - Shift-click the Green Flag to enter Turbo mode for better performance - Currently, the project will not work properly on the 3.0 version of Scratch. The refreshed version of 3D Sprite Render currently supports Scratch 3.0. - Also, if the 3D sprite is rendered below four frames per second, the project will start to break. A message will appear if the project is indeed running below 4 FPS. - Thanks for 100 views! I know, it's little, but it's something I can appreciate for a little project like this. PROGRESS Current - Update 6 - Effects variable that sets the number of effects on a 3D sprite; a new Glow effect is added and can be toggled on once the Effects variable is set to 2 (effect quality is affected by Quality variable); Fade effect for end layers is now affected by Effects variable. Update 5 - More statistics (Performance Percentage & Average FPS); end layer fade effect has been changed to use four layers instead of three; end layer fade effect will now disable once the Quality variable is below 1; and a new animation (only applies to this project) will now start the first time you open the project to show layer-by-layer process render Update 4 Render updates - 3D Quality can now be changed - more value means more layers (as long as it's not a negative value; recommended max at 2); finalized Depth for a stable X and Y positioning; finalized fade effect for end layers Update 3 - Depth has been extended with their own X and Y, meaning the depth can face different angles as you choose to instead of just one (WIP); and layers on the end are now faded to give a smooth edge effect (also WIP)
