REMAKE OF: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/570403515/ HOLY QUACK- it's been an entire year since I started that one comic collab with @100daysonly and @babyboy246 that took like 7 months to finish and literally started as a random side project some guy wanted me to do and quickly devolved into a treasure trove for creative inspiration and a deepened connection with two (probably three if you count @EnderArlo45) unlikely acquaintances. MAN time flies so fast :P Song: glaive - astrid (TW: may be innapropriate, idk I just got this info from another meme on this site :P) Coding: @Echoa_badger (@CapitanFluffy for bg effects) Art: @Echoa_badger so umm- yeah, 1 year anniversary of THAT comic collab. never thought it'd come so fast but here we are. honestly feels longer since we started that, so I thought I'd share a few ideas I've had ever since ending on part 5. First off, I wanted to give a proper name to this series since it's weird to give a full-on series with distinct characters and plot such a placeholder-ish name and I'm pretty sure it's not the only "comic collab" Nathan ever did with someone or even Flarecat. I wanted to ask my fellow teammates for name ideas but knowing me I kept forgetting so... yeah. I also wanted to add a cover for each part or at least a filler screen to separate beginning panels from the end, but the former also requires a name, not to mention I'll once again forget, so um... *inhale* I'm bad at closing statements ;v; Also... I wanted to talk about the "side collabs" with @EnderArlo45. We're... kinda stuck with both. The Prequel Collab was supposed to take place before the Cat Squad reappeared in Part 5, so it didn't really have any focus and random things just happened. Not to mention it kinda feels like Arlo abandoned it for Comic CD. That at least had a unique time-travel gimmick similar to Sonic CD, and it sounded pretty promising, until we SUDDENLY switched gears to... werewolves?? and even if we tried to continue the story, it would always switch back like a toddler writing over our work. Basically, we were stuck in a strange purgatory, which I TRIED to make into a story plot but... idk man, I feel like Arlo's gonna block that out himself (no offense, I'm just trying to share my personal opinion here). And it sucks. Since these essentially took place before the main collab, I had a lot of hope for both in terms of lore expansion. Especially Comic CD, it had a lot of potential with the time-travelling and weird sentient moon (I wanted to show some younger versions of Stick and Stellcat lol). So, is it canon anymore? Will we still continue either one? Both these questions are still in the air which I HIGHLY suggest @EnderArlo45 answer, but for now... I'll try to consider. So... what about the future? Well... shortly after finishing the main collab, Nathan for a sequel collab, which I've actually had plans for a while. That being said, I'll only plan to do it somewhere in early 2023. I MIGHT do a mini countdown for it, but... who knows?? So yeah, that's all I have to say. I know I missed some stuff like the Random Skits Collab and that weird sprite collab that was supposed to be Halloween special but failed due to me being slightly more flawed in Vector, but those are another story :P on a side note, I'm fairly proud with the head bopping in this one, which ain't smth I thought I'd say knowing my 5+ years on this site without properly making an original headbop meme myself :)
