Don't color the purple cat in. Leave her as line art. The line art must be purple for all characters, including your OCs Leave backgrounds white. 2 sprites per part. DO NOT ANIMATE IN THE BACKGROUNDS. Basically, just draw your OCs walking along doing ordinary everyday stuff, and every time the song says "Oh Hai!" a purple line art cat pops up and scares the character.
