I've been wanting to do this for a long time now, and now I've finally been able to do it! ☆ Introducing "Budgie Boids"! ☆ After following @griffpatch's amazing tutorial and altering it significantly with some animating, I've finally finished Budgie Boids! Here I used the base that @griffpatch coded and then altered it to imitate the behaviour of budgie bird flocks (after studying them for a while), and now this project represents it as best as I can! - H O W T O U S E - Click the flag and watch how singular budgies join a flock and follow them, joining up with other flocks to form large ones! Point in the top - left corner to see all of the variables, you can change them using the sliders (but it's not recommended as they have been set to imitate budgerigars, changing the sliders will drastically change how they move. ☆ Things that I've changed ☆ ➥ Changed the variables drastically to imitate bird flocks ➥ Changed the size and art of the boids ➥ Added animations as well Credits : > Thanks to @griffpatch for the base > All of the other art and code is by me! > Edited thumbnail on pixlr.com
