Instructions

The aim of this project is to prove it is possible to fill a textured triangle with just one stamp (SSTF) Version 2 is out!: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/888667870/ Faster version: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/771751798/ HOW TO EDIT THE TEXTURE: "Select all in the tri_a costume then whilst holding shift, press the up arrow until the triangle appears. Make your change, then copy the costume 2 times. Rotate tri_b by -120° and tri_c by 120°. Finally return the tris back to where they were before." This uses a combination of whirl and fisheye to perform stretch and shear transformations.

Description

V1.0 UPDATE: Fixed ALL the bugs, the tri fill is now >99% accurate!! Link to texture_converter: https://github.com/Joeclinton1/texture_converter ------------------------ Issues ----------------------------- - High ram usage: limits costume size and number of textures ---------------------- Credits -----------------------------------Cube engine: @l8P, @MathMathMath fisheye stretch idea: @mentalbox ---------------------- Dev log ----------------------------------- 20/08 - v0.1 - Shared initial release version 23/08 - v0.1.1 - Added github link 01/12 - v0.2 - Changed to equilateral triangle 01/12 - v0.3 - fixed fw equation with interpolated lookup table 02/12 - v0.4 - used svg to create more accurate textures 03/12 - v1.0 - fixed final bugs! 04/12 - v1.1 - optimised code 01/09 - v1.2 - Very slightly optimised code 02/09 - V1.3 - Added constant generator and fixed costumes so R=32 rather than 02/09 - V1.4 - Changed to bounding circle, and scaled costumes by 0.25 so the triangle is visible #3D
