Navy pointed behind him. There they were, most of the Cult of X. Mono, Auburn and Eggox were proudly standing behind him. Behind them, stood Tails Doll, Needlem0use, and Faker. Gem and Sterling were so startled, that Sterling quickly hid behind Shade, and Gem gingerly followed. Shade gave them a look, and then shifted her gaze to the Cult members. She then relaxed, her eyelids falling to a half-close. If looks could, and they can, embarrass, Monochrome would fall faint. And, he did. Auburn slowly got down to a crouch, and lifted the fox’s eyelid. “He’s out cold.” Eggox then got down and injected Mono with a syringe, holding a red-purple liquid. Monochrome then jerked up, his eye opening with a gasp. Gem, who was very impressed by their friendliness and expertise on one another, slowly got out from behind her sister of solitude. “So, you guys think you can help find my brother?” Auburn got up. “Yes we can! See, Mono here has a device that can track a human or a mobian just based off of similar DNA. So, we could take a blood sample from you, Mrs. Rose or our boss! I’m sure it will work perfectly!” Mono blushed slightly, forming his one eye into two. “Well, maybe not perfectly, but I appreciate the support.” Kila, who had been walking down the sidewalk, had seen all the commotion from across the street, had decided to walk over to see what was happening. So curious, that she didn’t check for cars. A 66’ Comet was speeding through the neighborhood. She heard it coming closer, and it was about two meters away before she knew it was the end. Or so she thought. Her three tails went on autopilot. Her hands were in front of her face, braced for impact. But there was none. Her tails, and her head were spinning at what she thought to be 70 kilometers per hour. She hovered the rest of the way across the street, and fell onto the nice, soft blanket of grass that sat in Sonic’s front yard. She started to fall asleep, before a gloved hand grabbed hers and pulled her up to a stand. “Hi Kila! Whatcha doin’?” Kila’s view focused, making out the eyes, nose, and mouth of her best friend. Kila then got up, more quickly than ever before, and hugged Gem. “Oh, it’s so good to see you! I almost got ran over by a car!” Gems eyes narrowed, and the widened. “YOU WHAT!??” Sonic then came up to them. “ Come on, don’t just sit there and waste your precious time, when you want to do something do it right away! Do it when you can. Only way to live a life without regrets. So get up, we gotta go find your brother! Everyone else was gone. Suddenly, Sonic’s phone rang. He picked up, and Eggox’s voice rang clear through. “I found him! I think. He looks like Navy and he has Gem’s scarf! I’m in the alleyway next to the IceCream Ship deployment center. Y’know, the one that, uh, Elise works at part time.” Fin.
