found this color palette challenge on tumblr with these purposefully weird and bad color palettes, and decided id give it a try ! for some reason i thought it would be funny to not only use the most complicated palette, but also draw something stupid and edgy ! the text is the name of the palette so thats kinda where i got the idea from =) i didnt sketch this out and also the challenge had extra rules that you couldnt overuse white/black if they were included in the palette (which they werent lmao) and also you couldnt use opacity/overlay filters.... it was fun trying smthn kinda out of my comfort zone ! not /exactl;y/ since i do somewwhat similar things sometimes, just with a lot less limited colors/colors i choose myself and all yknow. plus im not much of an 'eyestrain' artist anymore i kinda left that behind in 2020, so it was interesting revisiting this! this looks so lopsided and weird and bad and i had a BLAST drawing it. i will probbaly hate this after a few hours but who cares anymore!!!!!!!! (help imm already seeing things i wish i did differently WHATEVER zoom in by clicking/tapping =) i need to post art on its own more often.. art dumps have been my Thing since like. forever but i think i would feel a bit better about my art if i did it that way.. plus i can go SO much more in depth with discussion about specific pieces this way!!! if you couldnt already tell i LOVE talking about my art hehe
