CHAPTER SIX |||||~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~FADE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|||| Trench screamed and then hit the lava with a sizzling splash, he screamed in pain and squirmed around in the lava, finally he pulled himself out, he went on roaring and screaming in pain, he fell on his side and moved around, he finally put out the fire from the lava in the wet grass, but his burns were fatal, Fade swooped down, she rubbed the stab mark on her shoulder, her mind was screaming at her "IS HE OKAY? WHAT WAS THAT? WHO DID THAT? WERE THEY AIMING FOR ME OR TRENCH? DID THEY STAB ME SO I WOULD DROP HIM TO HIS DEATH? DID THEY- SHUT UP THOUGHTS" Her mind kept screaming on as if she wanted them to. She ran around and whimpered in fear, she grabbed a leaf and put it in a stream by her, she put the leaf on his burns and then she said in her most loyal voice "I enchant this leaf to heal burns when it touches them" Then she touched them down on all the burns and they were healed, but that wasn't all she had to do, she ran across the grove of green grass that was slowly turning black from lava, and grabbed a cobweb from a tree she put it on all the wounds and then sighed with relief, they weren't fully healed but now they weren't fatal, his scales were still roughly burned, he cracked one of his eyes open and peered at her "Your-your-" He winced "Your an animus.." He whispered. Fade looked down at her talons "Well yeah... of course I am..." She said. Fade looked at her shoulder. She got another leaf and enchanted it to heal anything "It isn't strong.." She said brushing the leaf on her wound, it closed up but left a big scar that still agonizingly throbbed, she let herself stretch her good wing out as far as it would go. Trench did the same with both wings, they flew away, Trench supporting Fade with his shoulder. Fade heard a faint but defiantly a voice say "We'll get them later..." It ended with a long hiss, but Fade and Trench were now long gone, but Fade still heard them say one last thing "Kill them...."
