The KRKR/62 (Knolevian RifleKorps Rifle 1862) is a direct descendant of the older KRKR/54 rifle, with the 62's main improvements being: - Going from a basic breechloader to a repeater - Using metallic cartridges instead of paper ones - Having a MUCH quicker reload due to its detachable magazine (like the Dynabloxian IR62) - And, firing a considerably heavier and faster bullet than the 54. When Zunaldi Smith originally designed the KRKR back in 1846, he originally designed it to be a lot like the KRKR/62, but when he shown his design to the Knolevian Army, they did not adopt it, for unknown reasons (possibly being due to it being ridiculously advanced for the time, and thus very expensive to make). However, when he simplified it to become a smaller breechloader firing easier-to-make needle-fire cartridges, the Knolevian army (for unknown reasons) adopted this design instead, and was put into manufacture and use. However, during the early 1860s, Knolevian soldiers found out that their breechloading rifles were terribly inadequate against the Dynabloxian rifles, which were repeating bolt-action rifles that held 8 metallic-cartridges rounds at once, and were easily and quickly reloaded via a detachable magazine. So, due to THAT, and their budget being expanded, the Knolevian Army finally put the better version of the KRKR to use, as the KRKR/62 shown here. so uh yeah pewpew rieful because jarrod wanted lore of it yea
