Welcome to the fifth chapter of my Warriors fan fiction novel! ↴ Chapter Five: SkyStar tried scenting the air, but the frost had ruined her sense of smell. “ThornHeart, can you scent anything?” She asked, looking around. “Not really.” The young warrior meowed in reply. “My nose is frozen.” “So Is mine.” SkyStar meowed in agreement. “Well, guess we just have to start looking and listening for clues.” ThornHeart suggested. “Alright.” SkyStar meowed, it sounded like the right thing to do. She swiveled her large ears, scaling the forest as best she could, then hear da branch snapping. She rushed over to the sound, but to her disappointment, it was just a scrawny old squirrel. After a bit, SkyStar sat down. “This is impossible.” She meowed, heaving a sigh. “No, it’s not. We can do this.” ThornHeart meowed with a nod, when suddenly he leapt up in joy. “I got their scent!” ThornHeart meowed, rushing towards where he thought it was. SkyStar chased after him. “You got OakenBell and PollenPaw’s scent?” She asked, panting as she pulled even with him. “Yeah!” He meowed, running even closer, when suddenly he skidded to a halt at FallenClan border. “They crossed the border.” He meowed. “Then I guess we have too, as well.” SkyStar meowed, raising her front paw to step across. “Wait!” ThornHeart shoved a paw in front of her. “Not yet. Let’s wait for a patrol and provoke them. They know very much that HopeClan has more warriors.” He meowed, sitting down. “Alright.” SkyStar began. “So we wait.”
