Dugseys and their children live in caves in the mountains. When the dugsey's children grow up and leave her, the dugsey lives in sorrow untill she finds a mate. Dugseys eat grubs and a variety of nuts, but while their children can't digest those, they eat small seeds that the mother gathers for them.
