Hello! Welcome to the First Chapter of my Fan Fiction Novel For Warriors! ↴ Chapter One: The white and gray she bolted up out of her nest in a jolt, nearly jumping out of her paws. She shivered in the snowy cold, then stepped out side of her den with a groan. “All cats of- uh…hrum…… HopeClan? Wait- it’s called HopeClan right?” The cat meowed, standing atop the rock then asking down at her medicine cat. SongLeaf, the medicine cat, nodded with a small sigh. “Oh- okay- Well, All cats who can fight the cold on their own gather before the…. Hm…. Hope Rock? Yeah, that sounds right…” She called out uncertainly. Soon enough most of the clan began to flood out of the dens and she nodded. “Why’d you waste our morning this time, SkyStar? Or should I say- ForgetfulStar?” The brown and white tabby below called. SkyStar tried to remember his name, and finally she remembered. “Hey- uh… OakenBell, right?” She asked in a bit of confusion. “Yeah, you got that darn right you old cat.” OakenBell snapped, turning away. “Well, we’re all gathered here for PollenKit to become an apprentice. So uh- PollenKit, step forward.” The odd pelted yellowish she-kit below stepped forward nervously, her eyes wide with fright. “Do you promise to value the warrior code as an apprentice?” SkyStar asked the apprentice, grateful to StarClan she remembered it all. PollenKit gave a small nod. “Alrighty then, PollenKit, until your warrior name comes, you shall be known as PollenPaw. Your mentor shall be OakenBell.” SkyStar meowed, again thankful she remembered everything. “I have to mentor this pile of mouse-dung?” OakenBell protested angrily with a sigh, then turned away with a scowl when SongLeaf sent a glare his way. “Er- meeting dismissed!” SkyStar yowled, quickly turning around and dashing back into her den with a sigh as SongLeaf stepped in. “It’s alright SkyStar, every cat forgets stuff.” She meowed, trying to reassure her. SkyStar sighed. “I guess so…” She meowed, turning away and resting her head gently on her paws before closing her eyes and soon falling asleep.
