2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI The original hot hatch is back for its eighth generation. The new GTI gets a visual refresh, but the design stays on the subtle side. Some new technology was added, with customizable steering, braking, acceleration, and suspension inputs. Power comes from a turbo 2 liter four-cylinder that produces 242 horsepower. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic.
