Hey team. I reshared this project with an even newer Sonic sprite. I think this'll look perfect ingame, so lets test it out, shall we? I'll probably end up animating this whole thing myself, but you guys can reduce the time it takes me by helping me re-animate the sprite. We will be using these animations in the next version of this project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/741621865/ See inside to find out more. By the way, I swear I get like from 10% to 30% better at animating every time I reanimate a character, trust me, I don't mind, It just takes time.
Please don't use without credit, I worked a while to find the right colors and look. Um, yeah, so you can obviously see the newer and better sprite, and after a week of searching for a good 2D vector Sonic sprite, I settled on this one, which took me a few hours to get just right. The good news: 1. I have a sprite. 2. It uses lines for the arms and legs, making it way easier to animate. 3. I fixed the colors and the eyes. 4. I tried to use easy points of movement on the vectors to make animation waaay easier. 5. Crisp, clean vectors The bad news, I could, but I really don't want to animate every single frame of this new sprite, it takes ages and lines can't be resized. Credits to Sega of course. Artwork is inspired by @bunnynightfan, or @pullmehair, a great Sonic artist, I hope he likes this, but all the vectors were made by @Enigmatic21.
