At first most of the cats thought he was untrustworthy for talking to Dew, a Kittypet. When he realized Dew was why they didn't trust him he convinced Dew to join Riverclan. The cats trusted him after that. He and Dew became mates the next green-leaf. 10 moons later Dew had two kits, Ferretkit and Fishkit.
