Character design notes: - Her face floof hangs down to make those poofs - She be stronk - Beeg tail - Ear fluff - Eyes aren’t entirely boxed in - lineart has those holes When designing/imagining this character I thought: - Silver Can is typically drawn without color or in grayscale. Therefore I should make my character’s design rely more on color contrast and unique body shape rather than on an overly complicated design. - I don’t want this character to have a generic personality. You know Warrior Cats, how people are always complaining about how the background characters aren’t memorable and they’re interesting as cardboard. I would like to make Petrelperch have the emotional depth of at the very least a plastic spoon. At least that’s sort of flexible. - I kinda want her to be a sort of clowny character. I know we have Meddy and Daryll and Crabclaw and Fleckneck and who knows what else, but it just doesn’t make sense to have a character that looks like this <= be down-to-earth. Or kind. Or forgiving. Or supportive. And I’ll get to that in just a moment. ;)
Here’s your personality description. Scroll down to the bottom for the abridged version. Ahem. Petrelperch is a trans female cat. She is very nosy even though her nose is the size of a baby carrot. Not a great listener. She’s literally got fluff in her ears. What would you expect? She complains a lot about work but manages to finish everything she’s assigned to (albeit a little sloppily) in a matter of seconds. Seconds! You could, I dunno, throw a log on her and she’ll be up and ready for another one. Speaking of seconds, she’s always first to the fresh-kill pile (even before the elders and kits). Petrelperch will often be seen sneaking in to grab multiple mice by the tails, just like a “claw” machine. Hehe! Finally, her friends are typically vexed by her presence, but they still keep her around because she’s fun. Ahaha. By the way, did I mention that she prefers women? My golly. Petrelperch has been on this planet for a little too long. Wow, 48 moons?! I would have thought she was 32 moons judging by that sleek, muscular body. But yeah, 48 moons. Unfortunately, this makes her off-limits as a love interest for most of these cameos, but that’s fine.
