Heyhey! Due to the (ex) trainee-mentor pair, Dustflurry and Mistletoe, some challenges needed to be overcome. With Dustflurry being deaf, and Mistletoeburst blind, they decided to take a new approach to training. Presented to you: Tapping Language Around cats who know the language, this is something Dustflurry will be using. For the sake of simplicity, the language doesn't have to be written in dots and dashes and can be written in the usual quotation marks. Deaf and blind cats can communicate using this by the deaf cat tapping the blind cat on the shoulder or a non-sensitive body part - this is just a suggestion as it's really up to however suits your character! Dustflurry, for example, will tap Mistletoeblast on the shoulder, but will simply tap on the floor if the cat he is talking to is looking. The tapping-sequence for the sake of simplicity + ease of roleplaying will be in morse code. A sheet has been attached in the project ! Who is able to speak this language in-rp you may ask? - Cats close to Dustflurry (e.g. Blastblizzard, Zenithmuse, etc.) - Due to Dustflurrys babysitter position in ThunderClan, ThunderClan kittens born after February 2022 up until the rats are given full permission to know as much of the language as they please, depending on how likely your character is to know it (e.g. Secretlullaby may be fluent in the language, but Tsvitochik may know very little - random names used) - Cats on The Guild may have picked up on some of this language due to Dustflurry spending the entire journey on The Guild - By December, realistically it should have spread around enough for anyone who wants to know it to know it - ThunderClan can know most of it, enough to have necessary conversations with Dustflurry in this way though again, it is entirely up to you This is basically an 'up to interpretation' type thing and just a way of explaining what you may have seen used in a few roleplays due to offsite conversations about it :] Inside the project is a funny little skit showing how Dustflurry lost a tooth, it's not very gruesome but if you're uncomfy with that then don't click space or tap the screen Kitten is Merry - owned by @Merrimint :) Older cat is ThunderClans assistant-babysitter on his duties , Dustflurry :) - owned by me this isn't an admin-y thing or event or something like that ,, just quite literally an explanation
