This is Scorch. They are a strange dragon with the pronouns they/them who lives alone and can exhale a particle beam that scorches anything within 10 yards of it. BACKSTORY Scorch hatched alone in a lush forest in a sunny clearing. When they hatched, they accidentally set a bush on fire when testing their particle beam, eventually lighting the whole forest ablaze. That was the day they discovered that their scales were immune to fire. After the forest charred to just black pillars of scorched pine trees and ash, the young dragonet decided to make the forest their home. Scorch lived in peace for a few years before a bad storm came along. Dragons from a nearby town were forced to flee into the charred forest where Scorch lived, and they were not happy about that. They demanded that any dragon they see leave, but every single dragon declined and fled further into the forest. Scorch was furious, and they started to launch their particle beam at any dragons attempting to flee. In their rage, Scorch set the regrowing foliage on fire. The fire was not as strong as the first due to the rain, but the particle beam itself incinerated anything in its path. The dragons eventually escaped, but more than half of the group had fallen victim to the flames. After the storm had passed, no dragon dared enter the Scorched Forest for years. Any dragon who dared enter the forest for the next hundred years never made it back to tell the tale. Scorch lived on mostly in peace, and they enjoyed the rest of their fiery life. ow my fingers hurt
