¡Hola! This is another entry, you know the drill, I’ve got one more I want to do and then I’m going to tone down the frantic drawing spree I’ve been on. There’s not much to say about this one, I don’t like how most of it turned out but I posted it anyways because… I don’t actually know. But it’s here now. I tried to do some reddish lighting on this piece to help merge it with the background, but the hardest part about this particular drawing was working with the color scheme. Not to say that Blossom’s design was bad, I simply felt that the colors of her sweatshirt and skirt didn’t go together very well, so I spent a while tweaking them to flow better. I also couldn’t decide which hairstyle to draw her in, so I just merged them and it became this weird anime-schoolgirl-protagonist look, completed by the glasses and flowing skirt. Sorry about that. I don’t really know why I chose this pose, I don’t know who or what she is calling out for, and about halfway through sketching I realized it looked very similar to the DMCE I did about fifteen hours ago, so that’s that, I guess. Also I hate that hand SO MUCH RRRRRRGH IT RUINS THE WHOLE THING I- I also noticed that the coloration of her hair, skin, and shirt/sweatshirt varied slightly between the two images, so I took the colors from each and blended them together, then used that new blended color for my piece. (Oh, and I chose to draw her in the sweatshirt because it was slight more detailed. I was originally intending to colorize the line art, but I honestly just forgot to. I tried to keep her face round-looking, but it sadly contributed to her left eye looking like it’s sliding off her cheek. #justiceforblossomseye Mk, that’s all I’ve got to say. I promise I’m not abandoning my Quotev to draw and work on my own DMC, I just haven’t had a chance to sit down and work on my quiz in a bit. Hasta luego~ -Lawn
