Yoo-hoo! I’m back at it again with the warrior kitty cat OCs! Around four years ago @Silver-Petal made the Iceclan and Oceanclan RP and I made a few characters for it. I’ve been really nostalgic lately for Scrach and especially for the roleplays so I have been getting around to redesigning all of my old characters. The next one is definitely going to be the mink/otter ones. Also I am open to new rps. And Silver if you see this, I was wondering if we could reboot that old rp since the description can no longer be edited. I think it would be fun to go back to the rp and revive it. Also to preface to character section; I know I am missing Snowdrop and Starlingfeather but I couldn’t come up with designs for them (each time Starlingfeather ended up looking like Stonejewel so I backed out of that design while Snowdrop kept on looking like Dovewing) so I might end up scrapping them. Anyways onto the characters. First up is Sunpaw or Sunscar! The design in her ref is of her as an apprentice. The only thing that changes from her apprentice form to his warrior form is that they get a metal scar! It’s in a sun-like shape and she got it from a dog bite, or not, her story is wip. It’s the same color as the inside of her ears. She is very proud of the scar and thought ‘scar’ would be a metal suffix so yeah! She pulled some strings and got her name to be Sunscar. I definitely had the most trouble with her colors and characterization. I played with some colors from a picture of the sun and got some of the ginger color. Her eyes are a green with red shadow to them. It’s like that for how cool it looks. Also I was being indecisive. Onto character bio! Name: Sunpaw/scar Age: 18 moons Gender: afab Demigirl (she/he/they pronouns) Personality: She is boastful. Her goals are lofty and she will stop at almost nothing to reach her goals. He can be conniving and most of their goals revolve around positions of power. I wouldn’t say they are the most cunning but they are by no means a dunce. She is pretty emotional and can be a bit impulsive. Backstory: Formerly a loner, she joined the clans at a young age. He was fantasized with the structure of clan and how much power those in leader, deputy, and medicine cats have. She never had a knack for herbs so she instead set her eyes on deputy. They kept that a secret, and joined Iceclan. He had other reasons to join, such as food and protection against the element. She later got into a fight a dog and ended up getting bit and shook by her shoulders causing her shoulder wound. It doesn’t really affect her movement. I would imagine I would start RP when she first joins the clans. Extra Info: She has a bobtail and a stocky build. They are also bi and like all genders but has preference for she-cats and non-binary kitties. Next one! Name: Deeppaw/fin Age: 14 moons Gender: afab Boy (he/him) Personality: He is outwardly mean and passive-aggressive but not necessarily suspicious. That would be where he fools everyone. He is another kitty that seeks power but he decided to do it the medicine kitty route. He is no-nonsense. Backstory: Born to clan cats Wavefeather and Littlepearl, alongside his sister Midnightpaw and Tunakit, he started off pretty normal for a kitty. He was still a jerk but he wasn’t power hungry. His brother died due to an accident perhaps involved with a prophecy and when all of his family was consoling with Starclan, he turned prickly and blamed Starclan. When he tried to tell this to Midnightkit, she was confused, not knowing why he would blame Starclan. From that point, Deepkit shut up about the topic, but he always kept it with him. The first gathering he attended, he ended up running into Sunpaw who was a few months older than him. She ended up chatting about her ideals for power, thinking not much of it because the goals didn’t involve Oceanclan cats after all. Sunpaw was talking big about beliefs and how a cat in power could push that to its limit. That’s when Deeppaw got an idea. If he could be a person in power, particularly a medicine cat, he would be able push that cats’ belief in Starclan to it’s limit. He could get back at them for what happened with Tunakit. With that he locked his eyes on switching to the Medicine cat position. From there he manipulates his sister, who he has a rocky relationship with, to help him. That’s all I have for now lol. Extra Stuff: His back fur is modeled after spikes back fins that sort of fold a bit on fish. Next one. Name: Midnightpaw Age: 14 moons Gender: afab genderqueer she-cat (she/her) Personality: She is shy and tends to space out in conversation. She gets mellow sad a lot so it’s easy to make her cry. She is insecure, which her brother doesn’t help by belittling her. She is nice enough. While her brother barely sleeps, she sleeps an excessive amount when time allots it. Backstory. After the conversation after Tunakit’s death with Deepkit, she became isolated from her peers.
Midnightpaw cont.) She relied a lot on Starclan when she was a kit and young apprentice. She had aspiring goals to be a medicine cat, but when Deeppaw negotiated her out of the position, she became a warrior, which she is fine enough at. She is hopeful she can do things for other people. Extra Info: She is a lesbian. Her design is modeled after Jellyfish. I am also not to attached to her prefix and I am taking suggestions for her new prefix. Next one! Name: Littlepearl Age: 45 moons Gender: amab she-cat (she/her) Personality: She is very kind and sweet but she can be quite overprotective of her children (which is why she has eyebags, from being worried about them so much of the time). She is quiet the social person but still is pretty meek personality wise. Backstory: She was born a clan cat and raised pretty normally. She only realized she was trans when she reached around 20 moons of age. At the time, she was already dating Wavecrash (who is trans himself), and was a bit nervous to break the news but it went fine. Wavecrash ended up being a seahorse dad (plenty of trans men have children themselves biologically in real life, I believe they are called seahorse dads) and Littlepearl ended up being a queen. She enjoyed the experience of being a queen a lot more than she thought she would and decided she would be a permanent queen. When Tunakit died, she was devastated but she pulled herself together for Deepkit and Midnightpaw who she focused all her time on. Tunakit’s death did worsen her overprotective-ness. She tried her best. She still is pretty active in her kids life but she usually has her hands full at the nursery. Deeppaw and Midnightpaw help out sometime, for different reasons of course (nothing like manipulation babies beliefs from birth amiright Deeppaw). Extra Info: she has Deeppaw’s build and pattern for the most part but is a tabby like Midnightpaw. She has the same curly fur as Midnightpaw. Anyways that’s all I have for now. Everything is up to change as I did all of this today to yeah, most of it was made up on the spot. The role play was made by @Silver-Petal. None of the silly events in the backstory actually happened in the rp. They are just a theoretical story pitch.
