Channelkit shook out her short fur, returning it more or less to its original position. After all, a rainy morning cooped up in the nursery with her four siblings and her mom-- not to even mention the other kits-- could mess up one's pelt. Once the she-kit had that sorted, she crouched near the camp's wall, in a sheltered place. She had wanted to go out during the rain, but Shearwatergully had protested, and so she hadn't. But spending so much time in that den with spir filled Channelkit with a nervous fizzle of energy, and she wished she could actually move around and release it. However, she couldn't think as well when walking, and that is what she came out here to do. So she forced her limbs still, beginning to murmur to herself about the characters in the story she was telling to herself. ~ ~ Backstory??? Aren't they just being born??? Like idk what you want from me here /lh /g ~ ~ I actually don't know too much about the parents? Like I know nothing about Shearwatergully lol. I know that Fallenstar really super duper obeys the code and can be pretty strict about it. But that's really all lol ~ ~ Anyways enjoy me rambling below-- these notes were the rough draft that I based her off of. I wrote them at 1 AM so I'm sorry lol ~ ~ • she's very self aware and knows what she wants and needs-- she has pretty good control over her emotions as well • the role of the medicine cat appeals to her greatly; however, she'd never actually go for it due to a combination of self doubt, knowing she wouldn't handle the stress well, and knowing she does want a family some day • and to elaborate on that, it's not so much the actual work of the role that she wants, it's more of the respect, the knowing exactly your place and purpose, a little bit the power, and just being a little special and having a unique role • is very strict to the warrior code. She will never disobey it, even if it would help cats. She doesn't associate with codebreakers if she can help it, and is willing to cut loved ones out of her life if she needs to • very good memory and holds grudges for what's probably too long to be healthy • very honest and upfront to the point of bluntness. She expects everyone to be the same with her. Never sugarcoats anything • hates sarcasm with a passion, especially since she often finds it hard to tell what is and isn't sarcasm • grief just... doesn't hit her as hard as it does with other cats. If it ever comes up, she'll definitely beat herself up over it • though it may seem a bit contradictory to her straightforward nature, she loves decoration. Her nest and fur will have many nick nacks throughout her life, though they'll be kept meticulously clean and organized • hates it when things are overly chaotic or dirty. She doesn't mind too much if it's not bad but if it is... not good lol • she does have a bit of a temper, even if she doesn't outwardly show it • queen of bottling up emotions • she's a romantic and she kinda hates it. She really doesn't like that she wants /so bad/ to have a partner in the future • the gal isn't actually very confident at /all/. However, she doesn't show this, so she doesn't get any comfort from anyone either • maybe if she bonds with a sibling/friend/love interest enough, she'll get her self esteem issues figured out. • she'll feel self conscious around her parents a lot, which has to do with the fact that Fallenstar is a leader and Shearwatergully is very popular in the clan. She'll very much want to live up to their legacy, even if it's basically non-existent. She'll know she's anxious around them, but probably won't be able to work through it on her own • okay at this point it's more me projecting lol • I'm going to bed • anyways • she'll be independent as heck from the moment she steps foot out of the nursery • "Hey.
