Hola, here’s some more non-UnderTale related art. This DTIYS looked very intruiging (I love Vespi’s design btw) so naturally I joined. This piece only took about two and a half hours, and I still feel like it’s missing something. I put an overlay of dark yellow/gray and that improved it somewhat, but I don’t know. I just couldn’t figure out what was missing, but my friend was in awe when I asked her for advice, and since she’s good with digital art I just went ahead and posted it. Like my other most recent DTIYSE, I did alpha lock and color the line art to add to the effects. I didn’t use nearly as much lighting and shading as I did on that one, instead opting to work more so on the background. I’m pretty sure there were halved-opacity newspaper stock photos in the background of the original, so I found some of my own to use in my redrawing. (I’m pretty sure they’re actually in Romanian.) But yeah, that’s all I have to say about this piece. It was a lot of fun to make, and I hope I place!
