haha this isn’t overdue idk what you’re talking about- anyways, yes it’s been over a year since the first chapter was released! the prologue and chapter one of “sun and silk” were posted on June 10th, 2021, on my old account. the second chapter was in the making when I decided to discontinue the series… until I picked it up again in September of the same year. I’m calling this the unofficial anniversary because it wasn’t the same story. as you can see from the picture, it was a lot different. it mostly took place in their warriorhood, and it was an expedition to stop a magical storm that was raging across the land. jaymoon and littletuft weren’t brothers— they were actually gay lovers lmao sunstar (dubbed that since she was the leader of the expedition) actually liked jaymoon and was kind of jealous of littletuft. silkwing (don’t worry she has a new warrior name lol) was a small part of the story. she had a mate I won’t name because of spoilers, and had kits. …it’s really weird to think about these days XD there was more to it, but I don’t feel like explaining lol anyways, I got sun and silk’s old designs from the first first chapter (…i remade the series 4 times oop) and saw that their colors were mostly the same except washed out. coming off of that, I made the other ‘21 designs the same colors, just duller like sun and silk’s. I wasn’t sure what to use for jay and little’s eyes, so I used the colors I use now. hopefully that helps with showing that it’s the same character. other notes — - I can’t draw misty or jay’s ‘22 expressions for the life of me lol - misty and sparrow (characters you haven’t met yet) were small parts in the ‘21 version. misty was actually mistwhisper since the tribe didn’t exist. - silkpaw’s eyes in ‘21 were actually green, closer to ‘22 sun’s eyes welp, that’s the weird story of my comic’s history. I might explain more in future anniversaries :)
