Redwood walked back to her den with a small fish in her jaws with Birch following her "Birch, I know your there" Redwood barked "Can you go away?" Birch nodded her head and walked the other direction. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Birch walked over to the river and took a deep breath as Doberman walked over "Hi, Birch" He said sitting down next to her "Hey, Doberman" Birch said "Did you hear about what happened yesterday?" Doberman asked looking at the river "No, what?" Birch barked "There was a mountain lion" Doberman said shaking a bit "WHAT?! Where?" Birch said anxious to know "On the hunting grounds. Crow was stalking a rabbit and saw it" Doberman calmly said "I-I can't believe it, when was the last mountain lion spotting?" Birch barked "12 moons ago" Doberman said looking at Birch "The pups are in the dens, right?" Birch asked worriedly "Umm, I don't think Bluemoon is..." Doberman yelped "What? I have to go" Birch ran off. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Birch ran into pack territory looking for Bluemoon "Bluemoon!" She shouted and saw a black tail behind a tree "Bluemoon?" She barked walking to the other side of the tree to see of it was the pup. When she reached the other side she saw the pup sitting there whimpering "There you are Bluemoon!" She said looking at the pup "Behind you!" Bluemoon yelped looking at a pair of yellow eyes hidden in a bush "What's behind me?" Birch said turning around "What the-" A mountain lion pounced on Birch pinning her to the ground "Birch!" Bluemoon barked "Go Bluemoon!" Birch weakly said "Get. Help." "O-Okay" The pup said getting up and quickly running toward the river. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Bluemoon reached the river "Doberman, a mountain lion pounced on Birch!" He barked to the black and Brown dog "What? Where?" Doberman asked getting up "I'll show you" Bluemoon said "Okay, take me there" Barked Doberman "Follow me" Bluemoon yipped walking towards where Birch was attacked.
