1. Isaiah 40: 31 (KJV) This one is my top favorite partly because of the metaphor of eagles' wings (I am obsessed with the idea of being able to fly lol), but also because it's just so comforting. 2. Isaiah 41: 10 (NKJV) Once again, I like this one because of how comforting it is. It always helps me to calm down from worrying when I read it. 3. Psalm 42: 7 (NIV) This verse is so strikingly poetic and... well... deep. I just absolutely love the word choice and metaphor and ARGH I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH 4. Psalm 139: 9-10 (NIV) The poetry on this one too just fills my poetic heart with happiness. I feel like even if people aren't Christians or don't believe the Bible, they should still read at least some psalms in literature because LOOK at that WORDING! Is it not GORGEOUS?? 5. Psalm 91: 4 (KJV) Personally, I'm used to the NIV translation, but I still love this verse. I like the idea of being protected by God's mighty wings. 6. Proverbs 31: 25 (NLT) I want to be this "she" in this verse. This woman sounds so elegant and mature and carefree and faithful. This is a very inspiring verse. 7. 2 Corinthians 4: 8-9 (NKJV) This is a very uplifting verse for me, as someone who struggles with depression. It shows that we can be broken but we can still get up. With God, we are stronger than our struggles. It's just so meaningful to me. 8. Psalm 27: 1 (KJV) I am afraid of the dark and at times when I felt extremely scared, I would flip though the Bible and read aloud verses that comforted me, and this was one of my very favorites. 9. Proverbs 31: 30 (NIV) Just like verse 25, this verse is one that shows how a mature woman acts. She doesn't care about looks, only what God thinks of her. Again, the type of woman I want to be. 10. Proverbs 3: 5-6 (NLT) This verse is also one that helps me a lot on bad days. After praying for God to speak to me through the Bible, before I knew what I was dealing with, I opened onto this verse, and it was exactly what I needed. All found on Google!
