Perhaps you heard of the famous @Griffpatch or @WazzoTV or @Astro947, for some examples. Scratch legends are amazing artists and coders, and well, most of our beloved legends have “left” scratch, or are inactive. That’s fine. Now they are in college or have jobs and are living their life. Yet they still continue to inspire us. Many scratchers go off to college to study coding or the arts. It’s beautiful what scratch can do. But it’s also devastating when your favorite legend “leaves.” ╰➤ T H E ‘ S A D ‘ T R U T H _______________________________ Many kids on scratch just leave early because of the lack of fame, and being underrated. I want to find the new legends of scratch. I will search through logs and random studios. I want to give people a chance. ╰➤ M Y ‘ G O A L _______________________________ What do I mean by a chance? I am going to help other scratchers with potential. With weekly challenges for different coding and art genres, hopefully you can build skills and be a real artist or programmer. The real struggles of—the codeword is really “the community,” —and I hope this will help others. Really, I’m trying, I’ve been there. YOU can be a legend. Maybe you don’t get famous. That’s not what this is about. You can finally realize that you have more talent than you thought, and gain skills through practice. ╰➤ O T H E R _______________________________ Scratch is a stepping stone. I want to make it a good one. Also I need a thumbnail! And help! I need managers and suggestions for prompts. :) ╰➤ A B O U T _______________________________ Guys….. I kinda made this after I saw so many scratchers leaving. After I saw /my/ legends, and idols, leave. I saw my friends leave. I saw great artists and animators and writers, leave. And finally, I saw myself leave. And I thought to myself about how we lost all those scratchers, but then I also realized that we gained programmers and authors and artists in the real world. And then I finally realized that it wasn’t the end of scratch, it was just that a generation left to go off to great things. And I realized there was new generation. And that’s you guys. The new scratchers and people I invited here, /you/ are the new generation. You are the new legends of scratch. It’s impossible for me to reach everyone equally, but I hope I can at least impact a small group. You guys don’t know how much it means to me… I thought all the scratch in scratch was gone forever, and that so was I. Guys, I’m coming back. Maybe not as active with projects, but I’m coming back. I want to make a difference in our world. And from what I’ve seen, I’ve seen people make waves. All those scratch legends left scratch with an amazing career, of programming, writing, and art. It would be amazing to know I could somehow… do something like that. Thanks, everyone. I have so many idols on scratch that I could just not list them.
