Yesss, I added more to my entry!! --- Celer walked among the ruins. They were searching for something. They swished their tail back and forth until at last the scent was strong than ever. The creature lowered their head to see the object. A compass with golden winged attached to each side. Celer sighed, "I walk all the way here for this... compass thing." They looked closer at it. It was not Latin writing... or Greek. Since they were made by the Gods, they could understand any language. "Old English..." they muttered, "That's not supposed to exist for /years/..." Suddenly, the compass began to glow. Celer jerked back, attempting to run away. Strings of light held them, he felt as if his soul was washing away like sand grains on a beach. He cried out, causing a few mice to scatter. At last, the strings stopped, causing Celer to be frozen into a stone statue. His face was panicked, and would remain that way for centuries. However, the compass had changed, with Celer wrapped around it. --- Years later, an archeologist was scaling the rocks, looking for anything of his interest. Suddenly, he found himself face-to-face with a creature made of stone. It was a bit larger than half his size and its jaws seemed to form a terrified face. Next to the statue was something shiny. A compass with gold wings and a blue, brown, and gold creature wrapped around it. He picked it up and ran his fingers along its shape. The archaeologist held the item up to the statue, it was the same creature. However, he noticed something that he hadn't before. A hole. In the statue's forehead. It seemed to match the compass shape. He slowly pressed it into the hole. Suddenly, cracks ran along the stone. Silky cream-brown fur showed though. Standing before him the magical creature that was on the compass. The archeologist stepped back, shocked. The creature reared, causing the compass to drop and ran away at full speed. Not too long after, the researcher's team came by and pelted him with questions about what had happened. "I'm not sure.." he answered. "But it has to do with this." He held up the golden-winged compass, but the creature wrapped around it was gone.
