wayfarers just isnt happening. at least not now. its been a year, and its gotten to the point i never want to come on scratch anymore. usually its a misclick LOL. let me explain my thought process, though. -i dont have a team of people doing this with me, and i like to draw complicated so the art takes a long time -if i do this, im going to do it right- and that means telling the story properly, but i dont have the time for that. if i take a month to create 30 seperate drawings for ONE episode, and maybe 30 comics per season (which there'd be at least two of- and 30 comics / season is definitely less then i need to tell this story how i want to.) thatd be 60 comics, each with 30 drawings, each taking a month. at best. That'd be five years. Five years till this comic is done. -Five years would actually be reasonable if I could get anything aside from exposure from this. I can't get paid, that's called breaking copyright, and that's something I'm not willing to do. -I have other dream projects, that I have loved for so long, that I want to focus on building up the talent to do right. Stuff I can get paid for. -Viewer retention is a crappy system on scratch. I can't use a month between episodes, nobody would stay. Scratch has no subscribing system (following doesnt alert you when someone has a new project) and therefore each episode would get very few views -Voice actors will not be able to stick around five years! Most don't stay for a month, honestly. And turns out, I get lots of anxiety from listening to lines and doing corrections and things. It's really not pleasant Maybe another day when I have more resources and such, but right now? No, it's just not happening. I'm sorry guys (for the 3 people who see this, because again, viewer retention.) I might update you guys on those dream projects I mentioned but they will launch outside of scratch. Wayfarers isnt my dream anymore. It does have a fully fleshed out story, though, if you'd like more details on that I'm considering going over what could have been :) I dont know if Im staying on scratch. Ive tried for years here to feel popular or feel like Ive got a leg to stand on, at least, and thats never happened for me. People are just constantly mad at the ST for doing things they cant really control, or mad at dumb little kids who don't know what they're doing. Want to solve an issue? Offer a solution. I'll probably check in every once in a while but man, I'm so done.
