Silkpaw || She/her || Apprentice || Fireflyclan || ~ Backstory :P (warnings: Sad) Silkpaw was the eldest of three kits, their mother was a senior warrior and their father had disappeared a moon after their birth. Their mother wanted to keep a good reputation, but since her kits had already cost her mate leaving, she felt embarrassed to have had the kits with a cat that just picked up and left. Thinking it the right thing to do, even before the kits became apprentices, their mother was on hunting and patrols again. Sometimes she would be away all day trying to prove her worth, this left Silk in charge of her younger siblings for most of that time, since their mother wasn't one to accept charity from the other queens in the nursery. Silk's brother as a kit was very outgoing and soon became hazardous as he got bad tempers when his sister didn't let him out of the nursery to play, this being their mum's rule, no being out unless she was there. One day Silk's brother attempted to get out, but was stopped by Silk. He threw a fuss and ended up threatening her to get out of his way, saying that if she didn't he would rip the nursery to shreds. Silk knowing how much that would embarrass their mother knew to step aside. And her brother ran off to play, but escaped camp and was never seen again. Silk's mother punished Silk for letting her brother go. And the day that Silk was made an apprentice, her mother wasn't there, being on patrol. But later that same day Silk learnt that the patrol had been attacked by a fox and that her mother hadn't made it. While having all that happen to her, Silk tried to remain perfect like her mother wanted her to be, so even after her mother died, Silk pretended to be totally fine and stuff down her emotions. This impacted her character, and sometimes she tries to step away to calm herself. She tries not to cry or feel the emotions, but it's always there and she feels like she always has to put on a smile. She is angry about what happened to her and sometimes fury at her brother, mother and father boil up, but this is when she finds herself trying to relax or putting on a fake face.
