What is this rp about? In times that have only recently changed, 400 years ago several great civilizations of winged creatures alike lived among their peers in Mnoho, a galaxy full of life. Among the many, two of the most famed you will find most in history: The Agwi of the Kenkuwa Empire, and the Avelu of the Dolusmendax Empire. Two species as different from each other as day and night. One of peace, one of violence. One of love, one of fear. One who gained their land peacefully from uncolonized planets, and one that would crush and conquer anyone in their path, even other civilizations. It was inevitable for the two civilizations to eventually cross paths, and the results.. They were horrific. The Avelu, by unjust feelings of justice, felt that they alone should be the only creatures with wings, and their god’s, The All Seeing One, innate gift of flight. So, with hateful steel turned towards the peaceful Agwi, just as they had to every other winged civilization they found, they struck them down. The war is hardly considered a war, it’s considered a genocide. An all out genocide as the Avelu wiped out all Agwi outside of their home solar system, and only relenting there when they agreed to give up all of the winged Agwi to the Avelu’s cruel clutches, which remained in their property as slaves until they were mascaraed off a few generations down the line. No help came to the Agwi people as the Avelu slaughtered every father, mother, son and daughter they came across, not even as the Avelu were sure to wipe out any trace of how to reach the Agwi’s solar system all across Mnoho. Not a single map spared from their claws. The Agwi suffered greatly from the war, abandoning any claim to the territories they once owned outside the Ivra System, which have all since been reclaimed or remained abandoned. Their population decreased dramatically, they hid any winged Agwi that they managed to keep out of the Avelu’s clutches on one of the smallest planets in the solar system. The Agwi race, even 400 years later, are still low in numbers and greatly an endangered species, but in time, they hopefully will recover. Since what has now been named the War of the Wings, the Agwi’s peaceful and friendly nature has grown some negative counterparts. Deathly afraid of Avelu, skittish of any other creature.. They now remain isolated and alone in the galaxy.. Exactly what the Avelu wanted… Though, even in the darkest hours, there is hope. Whispers of a rebellion against the Avelu government travel throughout the galaxy for all ears to hear. Whispers of peace, justice, and amending bonds that have been broken. Perhaps it will take another 400 years for this dream to reach reality, perhaps longer. Perhaps it never will.. Or perhaps.. It will only take one to see it through. Just one. One with a heart of gold… (There are other species in the rp too, it just mainly focuses on the Avelu and Agwi)
