Item #: SCP-6339 Object Class: Safe Special containment procedures: SCP-6339 is to be contained in a locked box placed in the storage room of the facility. Only security will be allowed to have the key to the box. Description: SCP-6339, also know as Adventures of Awesome Kid, is a 2D platformer game seemingly being a knockoff of the classic video game “Super Mario Bros.” The protagonist is named “Awesome Kid” as the game suggests, but we will call him SCP-6339-A. He is a male figure who appears to be 4 feet and 10 inches tall. He has white(the actual color) skin, a red cap being worn backwards, a red T-shirt with the words “Cool” On it, black fingerless gloves, and red tennis shoes. The object was discovered in 20[Redacted] at [Location not given] when instances of SCP-6339 were reported to appear in stores without any explanation. Instances of SCP-6339 can be found for every electronic device which includes, but are not limited to, home consoles, handheld consoles, computers, and mobile devices. The strange thing is that none of the companies remember allowing this game to be published on their devices. The company [Redacted] suggests that the game was made to work on any device no matter how old the device is and is selling the game for random devices without permission from the company first. The game is played like a normal platformer games. You jump across pits, you jump on platforms, etc. The game also includes features included in Super Mario Bros like question mark blocks and one power up. This power up acts as this game’s version of the super star. Its appearance is a skateboard and when picked up will move forward on its own and destroy any obstacles in its path. It can’t avoid pits on its own so you have to press the jump button at the right time to get over the pit. The game goes on normally until you reach level 2. SCP-6339-A no longer has a face and his shirt and cap appear to be melting. The music is slowed down and the enemies would run from Awesome Kid. Players would start to feel extreme fear followed by symptoms like heavy breathing, shaking, and stronger emotions. Even though the player is scared, they will still have the urge to keep playing. After 10 minutes after the symptoms started, the player will being to hallucinate and see a tall and skinny creature. It is 10 feet tall and has sharp yellow teeth, a more melted version of SCP-6339-A’s hat, long arms with claws, and torn versions of SCP-6339-A shoes. This creature is thought to be SCP-6339’s true form. The creature appears to be sentient. It does not behave only one way, but behaves multiple ways. Some victims report it stalking them, while other report it attacking them but disappearing before it can attack them due to it being just an illusion. Its emotions change depending on how it’s effecting the victim. If it’s successfully making the victim paranoid, it will act happy since it’s succeeding at its goal. But if the victim is not scared and is not effected by the creature’s presence, it will become frustrated and will act more aggressive when scaring the victim. We have contained most of the instances, but 3 are left to be found.
