(Tw) blood, s_icide, m_rder, violence, and bunch of other stuff. His dad always told him to carry a bag filled with food wherever he went. You never knew what would happen.when his dad didn't come home, gregory almost forgot. If he had, he probably would have d_ed. And so, as his father had told him, he grabbed a bag of food and headed out. Gregory stared at vanessa. "Go on" freddy urged. But he couldn't. Something held him back. "But she's vanny" He whispered. "Gregory" vanessa said. "It's ok. The doors open. We can leave. Together." She glanced at Freddy's head. "All of us" Gregory hesitated. "I dont-i don't trust you" He couldn't let go of the fact that she was vanny. That she had been out to kill him. It had been less than an hour. Why should he believe that had changed. Vanessa nodded, as if agreeing that she couldn't be trusted. "I know, and I know why, but please listen. I am so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you, I can explain. Please, just give me a chance." "It's ok" freddy said. "You should go with her." Gregory sighed. "Fine. But I'm keeping freddy." Vanessa nodded. "Ok." Gregory climbed into the Passenger side, putting Freddy's head in his lap. Vanessa gripped the wheel and pulled out of the parking lot. "Your looking at me like I'm gonna pull a kn_fe at you." She said. Gregory hugged freddy. "aren't you?" She made a weird face. "No, I'm not." Vanessa yawned. Gregory looked over. "Do you need me to drive?" Vanessa looked at him like he had gone insane. "Wha-what?! Your like, 12. How would you know how to drive?!" "Simple." He responded. "One, I'm 11, not 12, and two, my dad taught me how..." "Hmm. Strange thing to teach an 11 year old" Gregory cleared his throat. "Actually, I was 8. And he taught me what I needed. Mechanics, engineering, hot wiring, lock picking, how to drive, how to start fi-..."his voice trailed off. They reached a stoplight. "You should get some sleep." Vanessa said. "I'll wake you when we get there." Gregory snorted. "I'm not tired, and there's not way I would...sleep... around.." He started to nod off, drowsiness kicking in. When Gregory woke, he was no longer in the car, and was now on a couch in was appeared to be Vanessa's living room. He sat and scanned his surroundings. The room was small, with a TV, coffee table, and the gray couch. A few photos were hanging on a wall, with a younger Vanessa and two older people. He stood and walked over. They looked so happy, nothing fake in their smiles. For some reason, this made him even more jealous and angry. He thought back to his dad, how great things had been... if only... Gregory was snapped back to the present when vanessa cleared her throat behind him. He jumped. "Vanessa!" "Your awake." She noted. "Yea, and what's up with that?" Gregory snapped with an irritated tone."I thought you said you'd wake me when we got here!" "I know" vanessa said. "But you seemed really tired, and I thought I would let you sleep." "But I should have woken up." He said. "I'm I'm really light sleeper." He looked around. "Where I freddy?" "Oh." Vanessa said. "Hes in the kitchen." Gregory followed her to the kitchen, where Freddy's head was sitting on a counter. "Hello, gregory." He said. "Hi, freddy." Vanessa pulled a batch of cookies out of the oven and offered him one. "Here" Gregory wrinkled his nose. "No thanks." Truth be told, he thought that they smelled amazing, and his mouth watered at the sight. But he couldn't trust her, or any food she handed him. She seemed to notice this. "Suit yourself* she said, taking a bite of the cookie. "I have cereal and stuff, you should eat something. " Gregory shook his head. "Not hungry." He said, ignoring that he was, in fact, hungry. "Ok." Vanessa looked around. "I can set up the spare room for you, so you don't have to sleep on the couch. " Gregory snorted. "Thanks, but I'm not staying." Vanessa tilted her head. "Where are you going? Family? A friends house? I can drive you." "No and no thanks" Gregory shook his head. "Can you at least tell me where your going?" Gregory walked past her. "No." He stepped outside, ignoring her protests. "Are you going home?" "No." He said again. "Do you even know where your going?" "No." Gregory closed the door and walked down the street. He wasn't lying, and even if he was, she didn't need to know. He wandered for a few hours, into late afternoon. Eventually, he found his old box in the alleyway. He would rest here. He crawled into his box. "Hey you! In the box!" Someone shouted. Gregory groaned. He knew that voice. "Scared?"the voice taunted, creeping closer. Suddenly it stopped, right outside the box. "Awh, don't tell me your still a crybab- ACK!" Gregory's fist shot out and punched them. He got up and ran, but two other kids grabbed him. The first kid walked up. "I see you brought your buddies this time, coward." Gregory said. The kid had a red shirt and orange hair. He punched Gregory in the face. "Big talk for someone getting beat.__ Continues in notes.
Where you been, anyways?" "Oh you know." Gregory said. "Thought that I would check out the new property. Wasn't really my style, tho." He groaned as the kid begane to land blows into his face, over, and over. "Smart a-" the kid growled. He got in gregorys face. "Got any other smart a- remarks, punk?" He was answered by grwgory spitting in his eye. "Awh, are you crying?" The kid kicked him, sending him to the ground. The other kids joined in on kicking and punching him. The first one picked him up by the shirt collar, and raised his fist, but before he could land a blow, a car pulled up and someone stepped out. The kid dropped gregory and cursed, and he and his buddies retreated. Gregory looked up at his rescuer, who was none other, than vanessa. "Hey." She said. "You ok?" " This isn't over Schmidt!" The kid yelled. Gregory glared up at vanessa, ignoring the blood driving down his face. "What are you doing here? " "I followed you." She admitted. "And a good thing I did, too. Come on, let get you cleaned up." Gregory sat on a counter in the kitchen, holding paper towels to his nose, while vanessa put bandaid on his face and hands. "They got you pretty good, huh?" She said. Gregory looked at her. "I don't need you to take care of me."He said. "Why did you follow me?" Vanessa looked at him. "The way you were talking sounded like something was up. I wanted to make sure you were safe. And you left freddy, he was worried." Gregory patted Freddy's head as vanessa continued. "You can stay here, you know." She offered again. "At least, until you can sind somewhere that's not a box on the streets. " "Why are you helping me?" Vanessa walked over to one of the cabinets. "Because you helped me. You freed me from glitchtraps control, and it seems only right." Gregpry didn't want to trust her, but the more he thought about it, the more I take sence. "Oh, well.... thanks." He picked up freddy. "And thanks for scaring those guys away too. That was kinda funny.." ~~~~~~ end~~~~~~~ Idk what to put here XDD
