Description

welcome, SWCers! I hope you enjoyed the first cabin wars of the session. Today, I’m excited to be opening submissions for our new magazine, The Postscript (thank you so much to @-faerylights for the name!) If you haven’t heard of this, check out https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/694749677/ for more information! Bear in mind that only people participating in this session (July 2022) of Scratch Writing Camp may enter anything :) Now, let’s get into what you can submit: - Articles: You can submit an article about any generally SWC-related topic, whether it’s the chaos of what happened in cabin wars, the significance of mangoes in camp, or anything else you think your fellow SWCers will be interested in reading. Some articles will be included in the final project, and the rest will be linked in the description of it. Articles should be a maximum of 1500 words, ideally around 800-1000. This is not a strict maximum, so it’s fine to go over a bit! - Questions: We encourage you to submit any and all questions you have about writing! You may submit more than one. The fantastic duo of Luka (@ButterPopcorn8) and Aleia (@starfairyelise) will answer them in a writing advice column. - Memories: If you have a favorite memory from this session that you’d like to share, explain it briefly! We’ll compile these to put into the project. - Miscellaneous: In the past, many SWCers have made art, song parodies, or other things related to camp! We’d like to feature some - so if you happen to have any, feel free to submit them. Rules: - As always, keep everything Scratch appropriate! - Collaborative entries are allowed :) - If you're entering in the miscellaneous category, remember that your entry must be related to SWC! - You may submit multiple entries! If you submit more than one of the same category, keep in mind that you likely will not see both included in the final project. - Questions and articles are due by July 21. - Any other submissions are due by July 28. How to enter: If you're entering an article, we recommend you post it in a forum! If you're entering in the miscellaneous category, a project would most likely be ideal. If you're entering a question or memory, you may just comment it. Unless your entry is a question or a memory, use the entry form below! Type of the submission || Title of the submission || link to the submission || account to be credited I’m very excited to see what you all submit :) Have fun!
