Hey everybody! Here's my work for Day 3 of Camp Feathers. Day 3's theme was retro, and I was having trouble coming up with something to draw. I was thinking about a record player, but then got led to vinyls. My family has a record player and a collection of vinyls, and I was able to purchase an album that means a lot to me in vinyl. A Constant State Of Ohio by Lincoln is an Alternative/Rock EP with 5 songs. It's funny how one song from this got popular (Saint Bernard) when the other ones are spectacular and debatably better than Saint Bernard. The song I wanted for this project from the album wasn't already on scratch, so instead it's Mr. Blue Sky. My favorite two songs are Banks and Smokey Eyes, but they have heavier themes and swears so I couldn't include them on this project. The use of browns and reds is to go with the retro theme with an overlay of a blue to fiery orange gradient. It suits the burn smudge on the album cover pretty well! This is my favorite piece I've made so far and are pretty proud of considering it's practically lineless. Music Mr. Blue Sky - ELO
