Title : 240th PROJECT !!! EPIC MOTOR !!! Fast 1983 DEVE Holeless Hydraulic Elevator (Mod)… Brand : DEVE. Year built : 1983. Modernized by KONE in 2007. Type : Holeless Telescoping Hydraulic, digital S3 controller with full-memory. Capacity : 900 Kg or 12 Persons. Maintained by ThyssenKrupp since 2016. Fixtures : Green DMG BL (The door open and door close buttons and the alarm button were replaced by TK in 2022 with beeping Schaefer RT 42 buttons. The door open and close buttons are blue and the alarm button is yellow. Those buttons were replaced because they were broken, they have only lasted 15 years, but it’s better than some generic lifts which last just 10 years). Starter type : Solid state. Location : Blôrk Köpcentrum, Östersund, Sweden. Other : This is a really good and rare hydraulic 1983 DEVE elevator which has a great modernization from KONE in year 2007 !!! The modernization is totally amazing because it goes at 1 m/s, it has a really quick levelling despite being a 2-speed hydraulic (It takes 2.5 seconds to level in every direction), the pump takes only 0.8 seconds to charge and it has pre-doors !!! In terms of efficiency, it is great and in terms of reliability, it is also good because the controller is a S3 controller which are great in terms of reliability and they are easy to use, the cab is refurbished but the structure is original and well- built, the automatic sliding doors were replaced with Fermator doors during the modernization and it has a generic indicator and it has cheap but nice and unusual green DMG buttons, all of the fixtures are original, apart from the door open button, the door close button and the alarm button which are replaced with Schaefer RT42 buttons after 15 years, but these Schaefer buttons are nice and a bit unusual. This one is reliable and it is in a very very good condition, despite being used very often (Because, this is the lift in the main building of a big shopping center) and also, the mod. is a completely generic KONE modernization !!! The main causes : Very good maintenance and most of the scandinavian generic brands tends to be good !!! It has also a nice voice and an awesome motor sound !!! The building was opened in 1983 and renovated between March and August 2007. The renovation is very well-done and the lift is properly modernized and it stays awesome !!! The main building is in a really good state, the another building is in the same condition as the main one !!! I really like that !!! This is also my 240th project on Scratch !!! There is also an another building which has a very very cheap generic lift which has been modded by OTIS after only 2 years of service !!!
