This one took a while. I started it quite a while ago but never finished it. Welp, I finished it now, and I think it sounds pretty good! This version is supposed to slightly resemble the Wii version in the melody by keeping the whole melody as electric guitar instead of switching to synth brass halfway through. The artwork certainly took a while. First, I had to go into the 3D editor and set up the course and the background, which already took longer than it should have taken. Then, I had to go into Scratch and set up all the characters and the items and the item BOXES (to which I then added color). It's not boring or hard and I don't dislike doing this, in fact, I enjoy it very much! It just took a while longer than usual. :P Wow, one of those rare occasions where someone actually sees my project on release? Nice!
the marbo is the nintendo spriters resource for most sprites, including the course itself and background. Item boxes (from Super Circuit) ripped by Colton. The "kartless" mario literlly gave no name to credit (at least, on the spritesheet). Don't believe me?
