Tada! My entry for @Typhooneanimates's awesome DTA! I love Tropical Scales' design, I just had to enter for him! I made a mini aesthetic board for him, press space! I also made a little backstory for him, if you would like to read it look below! Tropical Scales wasn't always a half-fish cat, in fact, he was once a RiverClan warrior! His name was Goldspot and he lived a peaceful life by the lake, until one day... On a wonderful sunny day, Goldspot decided to go fishing. It was such a nice warm day that Goldspot settled down under a bush near the lake edge to take a small nap. He would have plenty of time to catch some prey and then go back to the RiverClan camp with no one the wiser! He put his paws under his fluffy golden chest and closed his eyes. CRASH! BOOM! /What's happening!?/ Goldspot woke with a jump! With his eyes blurred from sleep, he looked up to the dark sky. Wait, the sky was gray! Where was the warm sunny blue sky that he had fallen asleep to? CRASH! Another flash of lightning! Now he stood up and headed to the lake, he would catch a fish and get back to RiverClan before it got too bad. No problem. After a few moments Goldspot spotted a large trout, he snagged it with his claws and crushed the neck with his jaws to kill it. He trotted away from the beach just as fat raindrops started to fall, he might not make it in time! He was reaching the edge of the camp in the pouring rain as he heard a giant BOOM! Blinding light flashed all around him! He dropped to his side, he couldn't feel his tail! His vision blackened, and his head drooped to the soggy ground under the weight of his wet fur... When Goldspot woke up his pelt felt odd, almost scaly like a fish. He turned his head to look at his tail, it had a fin on the end! What was wrong with him? He felt like he was half fish! And indeed he was! The lightning strike combined him and the trout he caught, making him a fish-cat! It also made his brain different, now he speaks cat and Spanish! He changed his name to Playa, (which means beach in Spanish) and moved away to the sun-drown-place (ocean) to live a happy life!
