Instructions

|| DIY Notepad and Stickers || -- -- -- This is a work-in-progress, but since I already have all of the instructions down here, I've decided to share this earlier than intended. -- -- -- {!!} HEY YOU THERE! READ MEH IF YOU WANNA LIVEEE {!!} -- -- -- If you're confused about anything, go ahead and ask in the comments! :) -- -- -- * Press space * Press down arrow to exit to menu * Press m to mute music * Press u to unmute music * Sorry for scaring you up dere ^^ -- -- -- - DIY stands for "do-it-yourself". - Have fun with this! - Written instructions in link below and under link vv - Link: ((yeah still working on this too)) -- -- -- If it's hard to read this on Scratch, then copy and paste all of the below into a word document! -- -- -- || DIY Notepad || Materials: - A stack of paper - Thin cardboard - Decorative paper *Tip* You can print out your favorite design and use that instead - School glue (I'm using Mod Podge, but I recommend PVA glue) - A brush - Binder clips 1st : Get your paper. I'm using a stack of index cards. You can also cut printer paper down to size 2nd: Cut cardboard down to the same size as your paper. *Tip* I'm recycling a cereal box. You can cover the other side of the cardboard with paper, paint, duct tape, anything you want really. 3rd: Cut decorative paper down to the same size as your paper. 4th: Stack your pieces together. Cardboard on the bottom, your paper in the middle, and the decorative paper on top. Binder clip them all together. 5th: Take your glue and paint it on the top of the stack (this is kinda hard to explain, just check back later to the project when finished. I'll have a picture explaining this part. For now, just glue where you think the spine would be if this notepad were a book, but on the top. Does that make sense?). Paint many thin coats of glue to make sure your notepad is secure. I painted around 4-6 layers. 6th: Once the glue is dry, and you're sure all is secured, cut out another piece of decorative paper to cover the top (once again, hard to explain without picture. Think of this as the spine covering). Glue it down. 7th: And you're done! Have fun with your new notepad! -- -- -- || DIY Stickers || Materials: - Tape (I recommend packaging tape, but regular tape works just fine) - Your image that you'll turn into a sticker - A non-stick surface where you can place your tape - Scissors - *Optional* Water (It makes it much easier to cut) 1st: Trim your image down to size (If you want) 2nd: Place down your tape on a non-stick surface, sticky side down. We want the tape to be big enough to hold the image, so if necessary, overlap multiple strips of tape to make a big piece. 3rd: Make sure your image fits in the tape with plenty leftover on the sides. Place your image in the middle and cover it in even more tape on top. Make sure it reaches over the sides of the image. Smooth out any air bubbles. 4th: Take your tape-encased image off of your surface. Cut out any excess tape, but make sure you leave a bit of tape all around the sides (This is what keeps the tape and image stay together!) 5th: You're done! You can store your stickers on old sticker sheets, or on wax paper. Thank you for taking your time reading through all of that >o< Have a fantastic time creating your notepad and stickers!
