=WARNING= -The following below is a giant rant about ScratchJr, if you survive the rant, please inform me of any incorrect statements. -If you do not survive then RUH ROH RAGGY! I don't wanna go to jail! I have never touched ScratchJr, but what I do know, is that THE COMMANDS DON'T HAVE TEXT, IT'S JUST PICTURES! So yeah, teachers have fun spending the first WEEK of ScratchJr explaining what the wordless code does lol. Scratch that, (get it?) have fun spending the first TWO WEEKS explaining the pretty pretty pictures. Look bro don't expect a 2-year-old to know how to make simple Dino game, and don't expect a 4-year-old to think that words (which they can probably read) won't appeal to some of them. PLUS, the fact that this is used for schools, so the ACTUAL target users are around ages 5 to 7, by that time I would expect that they would've grown out of silly pictures, or maybe not, I'm not a 5-year-old, so how would I know? I can understand making a ScratchJr obviously, but it very much lacks the content that Scratch has, (including the wordless code lol) I do think that ScratchJr should actually add words, so you know what you're doing instead of asking the teacher what the *rotate -> 90 degrees* does over and over again. Oh yeah you can argue that HEADSTART schools are a thing, but as far as I know, they don't teach you how to read, I'm also pretty sure that you can start those at like 3 years old or something, so glad I managed to be around before HEADSTART was a thing, I highly doubt that HEADSTART schools even teach ScratchJr, definitely not Scratch. I went to daycare, and that's basically HEADSTART, but all I did was play with the building blocks and try to steal the teachers' pringles. Don't remember half of the things that happened. So basically, it was just me staying there almost all day and all night, pretty boring lol, didn't learn a single thing educational. So, I still think ScratchJr is confusing. =END OF RANT=
