ヲズワルド｜ DMCE use your mouse to scoll up and down on the first slide, and hold click to zoom in on the closeup. please fullscreen, the first was exported as a .svg, so resolution isn't lost, so you can see more details. - wozwald 「niru kajitsu ver. miyashita yuu 」- I had a lot of songs that could of fit this theme... since i listen to a lot of dark songs, but I picked wozwald this time. miyashita's voice is pretty the dark, weird, feeling of this song suits the drawing, but the music can easily determine the mood of the drawing, too. i'm still amazed at how sharp the image is... once I ported it into scratch the first time, the res was so low and for a piece like this, I went "i gotta turn this into an svg" because i drew on a 1500x2500 canvas. (scratch doesn't suit drawings, really) but when I saw alyelle had another dmc I thought "I gotta enter, and beat 18th (i think?) place" since it's what I got two years ago, but the competition will be steep so let's hope, haha. subsequently, I put lots of effort making this the best I could. the top of her tie ended up under her hand and the letter so it's a bit weird ..? oh well I thought of so many things I could do with this as soon as I saw the drawing.. it ended up as some kind of alleyway, which turned out ok? I don't draw this kind of stuff often but it's kinda fun hehe, ignore the sketchy/low detailedness of it ( ´ ▽ ` ) though for anyone wondering, the characters on the wall are 猫被り[ねこかぶり, nekokaburi]、meaning feigned innocence or wolf in sheep's clothing, and 狼＋羊[おおかみ＋ひつじ, Ōkami+hitsuji]、meaning wolf and sheep respectively. [you can see why i put them there] anyway, I hope you like the entry! I managed to complete it in around 2 days... it still took what, 8 hours, perhaps?
