{[ Hello there! It’s me, Dragon, here with a litter request for @ratsona! ]} { Click to proceed. } {}{}{} :: backstory (optional, just my excuse to draw oriental cats shh :: [ Aurora breaks on the site of tragedy. A lanky Siamese cat, made thinner by lack of food, cradles a quartet of new orphans between her cooling forelegs, belled collar sending a soft elegy to the wind. As an escaped indoor cat, she was unaccustomed and unfit for the wilderness she traversed for two moons after she fled the warmth of her home; the kits of a local stray made the journey more difficult, the mother unable to provide enough milk given the scant food available to her. The queen's story ends here. For the mewling treasures curled against her paws, though, hope remains to be found. These four will be discovered by cats who know the wilderness. They will be trained to survive the conditions their mother couldn't, and like the Clan cats who take them in, they will thrive. Their mother will be laid to rest in a field of flowers, buried beneath the dark earth so her kits can look to the bright sky. ] :: litter theme : poisonous plants :: . 01 . foxglovekit . amab [ Foxglovekit is a small, scruffy tom-kit with a semi-oriental build. He has short cinnamon fur with a ticked tabby pattern, overlaid by a mink pelt that just barely reveals the stripe on his back. White markings splash his underbelly and tip his paws. Foxglovekit has wide, interested golden eyes which scrutinize his surroundings, of which is view is curtailed by his short height in comparison to his siblings: however his eyes still gaze above those of an average cat, boosted by his height of 10 inches. ] :: genetic anomalies : n/a :: . 02 . nightshadekit . amab [ The second of the trouvaille litter is a tall and handsome tom-kit sporting medium-length fur and a notable oriental build gained from his mother. Nightshadekit is a beautifully patterned colorpoint chocolate cat with a dark ticked tabby pattern laying over his coat. Like all his siblings, he has whitespotting blooming across his pelt, covering most of his legs and tail. He has striking cornflower-blue eyes, the pupils of which are crossed as a trace of his mother’s genetics. Luckily for Nightshadekit, this condition common to the breed will not affect his eyesight. What may affect him is his lack of a left foreleg, the result of an unfortunate mutation - though nothing that will hinder an adaptable kitten’s lifestyle. Nightshadekit stands tall at 11.8 inches. ] :: genetic anomalies : crossed eyes (no effect on eyesight, research not required), missing foreleg (research required) :: . 03 . oleanderkit . afab [ Oleanderkit is a soft-furred kit with a tufted, silken pelt of medium length. She’s a beautiful specimen of the oriental build, with a tall, lanky form and narrow face - which leads the eye to her lack thereof, a kit simply born without optics. Oleanderkit sports a fawn calico pelt. She is the only one of litter not to be a biological tabby, though of course her cream markings sport the stripes nonetheless. Between her colorpoint pelt and high whitespotting, Oleanderkit appears to be simply a white cat with calico patches near her points. She stands at 12 inches tall. ] :: genetic anomalies : lack of eyes (research required) :: . 04 . hemlockkit . afab [ This bundle of fur may very clearly be one kit, but a secret hides within her tufted pelt: Hemlockkit is a chimera, carrying two distinct genetic codes. Because both sets of genes were genetically female, Hemlockkit remains a healthy and fertile she-kit; however this event leaves her with some surprising differences. The most noticeable is the extra legs sprouting like branches from both of her ankles; a staple of the kitten who never would be. Hemlockkit has an oriental build, and is the only one of her siblings to carry the distinctive oriental ears which fan out at the sides of her head. She is a mix between colorpoint and mink due to her chimerism. She has a chocolate tortoiseshell coat with dark ticked tabby stripes, and creamy markings lining her legs - all six of them. Hemlockkit has beautiful turquoise eyes with long lashes, and dark dorsal fur runs down her head and neck. She stands at 11.4 inches tall. ] :: genetic anomalies : extra legs (research required), chimerism (research not necessarily required) :: :: note : I classify nightshadekit’s eyes as blue due to them being below 70 on the scratch color scale, but it’s barely under and you can feel free to interpret them as purple - I don’t want to be one of those people who tries to pass clearly purple eyes as cornflower-blue. :: :: other note : due to lack of space, the kits’ genetic codes are in the comments. :: {}{}{} i made most of this on my phone in the car while my internet kept coming in and out it was p a i n f u l /lh /hyp next litter request receiver: @llamainspace
