YAY I DIDN'T WIN (that was my objective for those who were wondering) :DDD I finally found a way to use inkscape in a way I can adapt to for designs like these. First I make the design in inkscape. General shapes, general appearance, then add all the effects into my strong suit; the scratch vector editor. I hope this doesn't look too yucky.
When the name "Haudio" came across my mind, one of the first things I thought up of was an angel. So I tried to create a chaotic-looking thing... to be honest it would probably look cooler had it been more solid and more life-like.
